CRG Tax Solutions — Tax Preparation & Planning
Tax Preparation with the Bigger Picture in Mind
CRG Tax Solutions helps individuals and small-business owners organize their information, meet filing responsibilities, and understand how current decisions may affect the years ahead. Our goal is accurate preparation, clearer records, and more confident tax planning—not simply completing a form and ending the conversation.
Individual tax preparation
Federal individual income-tax return preparation within CRG’s current service scope.
Filing-status, dependent, credit, and income-reporting review based on the client’s facts.
Retirement income, Social Security, pension, health-insurance, and self-employment considerations.
Prior-year information review when it affects the current filing.
Self-employed and small-business support
Schedule C income and expense organization.
Estimated-tax and withholding education.
Business-use recordkeeping and document readiness.
Entity-tax education and coordination with legal, payroll, or specialized tax professionals when appropriate.
Business return preparation only for entity types CRG has expressly confirmed it currently serves.
Year-round tax planning
Income and withholding checkups.
Estimated payment planning.
Tax impact of marriage, retirement, relocation, business growth, health-coverage changes, or other major events.
Recordkeeping improvements and action deadlines.
Identification of lawful planning opportunities based on available facts and current law.
Tax notices and unresolved filing matters
CRG can help clients organize notices, transcripts, records, and response deadlines and determine the appropriate next step. Representation before the IRS is limited to authority permitted by current credentials and applicable law. When broader representation is needed, CRG will recommend coordination with an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or attorney authorized to practice before the IRS.
How the tax engagement begins
Introductory conversation — identify the return, concern, or planning need.
Scope and document request — confirm what CRG will prepare or review and what information is required.
Engagement and fee — sign the applicable engagement letter before substantive work begins.
Preparation and review — analyze the information, discuss questions, and review the completed work.
Next-step planning — identify deadlines, recordkeeping improvements, or planning topics that may require a separate engagement.
